Une collection capsule développée autour du concept de « Wearable Art », une collaboration inédite à 4 mains.
A capsule collection around the concept of "Wearable Art", an original collaboration with 4 hands.
For her NO SEASON 2022 collection, Armine Ohanyan launches a new collaboration with Japanese artist Kiichiro Ogawa mixing art, movement and creation. These are the themes that unite the two designers in their respective visions of fashion. This artistic performance made in free improvisation of painting on clothes becomes a spontaneous capsule collection based on the iconic models of the designer. The capsule will also be offered in digitalized prints for a Limited Edition 2022. This concept embodies the designer's belief that art and fashion are inseparable.
Born in Japan, at the early age of six,Kiichiro Ogawa was strongly influenced by images of black leather biker jackets with skeletons drawn by punk rockers. At that time there were no rider jackets for kids, so he started designing and drawing on denim jackets using bleach. After being closely connected with the architecture industry for over 20 years, he branched out on his own as an independent artist. Currently, Kiichiro is drawing and painting on stage costumes, clothing, bags, furniture, canvas, buildings and is always in search for alternatives. Kiichiro’s work is characterized by the use of only house paint. Apart from working on a number of hotel art projects both domestic and abroad, Kiichiro held a solo exhibition in Paris, and has recently been appointed by fashion brands for capsule collections. Above all, the announcement of the one and only "PEEK-A-BOO" bag at the "Design Miami 2018" event in which Kiichiro was featured as a collaborative artist, is one of only 5 people in the world with FENDI. This became a hot topic of conversation. This spring, he acquired a French VISA “Passeport talent” and moved to France to expand his activity base to Europe. Rather than simply producing art with a set objective in mind, he prefers to create through interactions with his surroundings. Live through art. Anyone can be an artist. This is a fact of life. Kiichiroʼs mission in life is to spread the word to all that immersion into the world of art will bring meaning and pure enjoyment into the world of art will bring meaning and pure enjoyment into oneʼs life.
